The Vision of the American Chiropractic College of Radiology (ACCR) is to be the recognized body of experts and the authority in chiropractic for accurate interpretation and safe, appropriate use of diagnostic imaging through clinical service, education, advocacy and scholarship.

The Mission of the ACCR is to advance the specialty of diagnostic imaging, by:

a) Providing direction and leadership in the area of diagnostic imaging;

b) Demonstrating the highest levels of clinical competency in providing imaging consultation for the benefit of the patient;

c) Educating students, practitioners and the healthcare community regarding the best use of diagnostic imaging;

d) Establishing recognition of chiropractic radiologists as qualified specialists on par with their counterparts in other professions;

e) Supporting the expanded presence of high quality diagnostic imaging residency programs;

f) Producing scholarship that improves the quality, safety, cost-effectiveness and appropriate use of diagnostic imaging on patient populations; and,

g) Broadening and strengthening healthy inter-professional relationships
